Learn something about files

Recently one of my friends asked me about file with extension META. But I was not familiar about that File Extension META and didn’t even hear about that. So I couldn’t answer him. After a couple of days I found a file with an extension META in my PC and I thought it might be a system file. At the same time I was also in doubt whether the File Extension META will be a virus. It’s because PC’s are easily affected by viruses nowadays. So to clarify my doubt I searched for File Extension META on internet and I came to know that it’s not either a system or virus file. Actually META file is a file created by game called black and white. There may be some people who might not be much familiar about that game. Let me to tell something about that game to those people. Actually black and white is a god game released in 2001 by Lionhead Studios. The game revolves around the player as a god trying to accumulate worshipers. The file with extension META will be paired with a SAV file for the same game. This file only contains the required data’s which tells the creature how to behave and interact with the surroundings. I understood about this file a lot now and also gave explanation to my friend.
